A Neutral Nursery IS Possible

I have always said that I wouldn't find out the sex of my children while we were pennant. It's definitely easier said then done especially when your husband wants to find out. I had my days when I told myself, forget this I'm finding out!  But when it came to the day of the doctors appointment Chase was on board with keeping it a secret, giving me the extra push to stay true and do the same.

Of course in the back of my head was the nursery : ) I came across a posting on House of Turquoise with such beautiful nurseries for everyBaby.  My search began for more inspiration and this is where my mind going...

The room is cute, but the letters on wrapping around the room is a must!

This was my original inspiration.  The aquas and corals drew me.

This sagey color is number one of my list for wall colors currently.  Maybe with a little more gray in it.

Blue Bird

I bought 4 chairs with this same frame.  The lady who sold me them seemed quite interesting at first appearance.  She has a tea shop on the 4th floor of a building in Chelsea.  And by tea shop I mean, TEA shop.  This place has thousands and thousands of different teas.  After attempting to purchase these chairs I soon found out the crazy inside her!  Let's just say it wasn't easy.  Always a great story with business : )

I would love to find somebody who needs 4 chairs for a kitchen table -- paint them all white and upholster in coordinating fabrics.  This new line of dwell fabric is so beautiful and they all look so great together...

Nursery Finds

Baby White arrival date is quickly approaching!  We made the decision to not find out the sex of the baby which makes nursery design a little more challenging.  But seeing all the same light blue and light pink out there, I'm kind of glad.  Even if I knew what we were having I wouldn't be using baby blue or pink.

Right now I'm envisioning a mostly white room with grays and yellows -- then once the baby is here I'll add corals or turquoises.  Check out what I have so far...
